Geoff's so great and so is VoicePlay! They all seem like humble, nice, humoristic guys, based on their videos, comments and live video clips. VoicePlay only sings covers and always acappella (except in "Warriors" where two of them play the violin). They do their arrangements, video, lightning, etc themselves, they're crazy talented! Geoff always uses some music in his solo videos, but often a very small amount, like the bass instrument in this song, and a guitar plugin in "Bare Necessities". He plays the piano in "Blackbird" and "High and Dry". Liked your reaction a lot, hope you'll be checking out more from Geoff and VoicePlay!

For impressive timing/synchronization - check out the background singing right after the tone change and before he starts the "if you see me coming better step aside" as they each, in quick succession, sing the word "soul". Impressive to have 1 person sing it all but timing that background like that, while the visuals show them each singing it.

It's funny, I've already caught myself thinking that vocalists like Geoff or Dimash inevitably come to any person who somehow studies KZbin, makes reactions or watches reactions, etc. Well, let me be a little lazy and just copy my old comment on this: Now a little more serious. For quite some time now, I can't help but think that for me, Geoff has a certain resemblance to Dimash. Both with incredible range, both with incredible control over almost the entire range. Both have mastered a huge number of vocal techniques and techniques. With all due respect to the fans of other "ultra-high" and "ultra-low" vocalists and performers - but personally on me, only these two have such a unique influence. And, in addition, I can not digest the idea that TWO people are enough to cover almost all the variety of vocals (so far only among men - well, at least some consolation)) Special clarification for, ahem, "nerds": yes, I know that both Jeff and Dimash are not the recorded record holders for low / high notes. But I'm not talking about records, I'm just talking about impressions. Besides, if you think an artist is cool, it doesn't mean that other artists are worse. For me, definitely not. There is enough space in my heart for many (no matter how it sounds))). And I don't have the slightest desire to arrange a showdown inside my own soul for a pedestal between different talented and gifted people) It's just that some of these people are spiritually closer to me, someone is a little less "touching"... Hard to get enough of Geoff (it’s pronounced Jeff). Have you heard any of his narrations? His voice doing that reminds me a bit of James Earl Jones-very resonant speaking voice. I don’t know what you’ve heard from Voiceplay, but if you really want some vocal fun, listen to the Little Mermaid Medley. Also Hoist the Colours, Oogie Boogie’s song, and Carry On Wayward Son. And if you’re interested in hearing other deep voices, a group called the Bass Gang just started their own channel. The first song they dropped, the Emperor’s New Clothes, is awesome. They recorded a few songs earlier and those are posted on the channels of the different singers (they also do solo work and have teamed up with others), but they show up if you search for the Bass Gang. I highly recommend Copycat and Therefore I am.

Ok ladies I have a question for you. Close your eyes and picture this, you get a phone call that wakes you up early in the morning. You know this guy professionally so not anything to be outlandish. Anyway he calls you and he’s just woken up also. He needed to tell you something on a personal matter. You hear his voice, you know the voice I’m talking about. Deep voice first thing in the morning. The question is what comes to mind and if you would explain your emotional feelings if you could. This is actually a very serious song, but you are not alone in not being familiar with 19th century US mining...In fact, there are many Americans who don't know. It was a brutal business, engaged in by fairly tough men. One aspect was the method of payment, which was indentured servitude.
