Generally speaking you say things like "Baritone/Bass" if that's where your voice is most comfortable. It doesn't really denote range so much. But yeah, even for all the people I've performed with over the years his range is absolutely monstrous.

I totally agree with you about how the notes sound so different depending on the method....He is getting so good at his subharmonics, he can just drop them in wherever he wants to...so awesome. He is my favorite bass.

Loved this, Dennis. Thank you! That other group he was singing with was Toxic Audio. He sang with them as well as VP concurrently. I actually messaged him this question through Patreon a while ago when I found a clip of him singing with them because I was curious. If you ever watch their video "A Crimpella" from 2012 there's a scene where they are each chewing on a CD case; Geoff's is clearly a Toxic Audio CD.

You should check out Geoffs video on how to sing low, and his follow up video after that. He sheds some very interesting information on how he achieves his low notes and in the second video, expresses something very shocking about his voice. Keep up the great reactions!!!!

I was listening to Elizabeth Zarkof's (The Charismatic Voice) interview with Geoff. She asked which was his favorite solo work - it was also like you, High and Dry. Thought you would like to know. Of course after Halo, Geoff now goes officially from a B0 to A5. I suspect he has an A0 hiding somewhere inside - a full 6 octaves?

I checked and a Google Translate Sings, not the original, did a version of"Rap God". I haven't heard it yet so I don't know how messed up is. They are usually pretty funny, some more than others. Though with the original Google Translate Sings even Disney songs can turn out crass or even have swear words in them.
