Just bought my second xk8. Had hot hatch a plenty, boxster, e46 M3, nothing makes you feel as special as this old jag. This one has the 20" BBS wheels. Sport trim inside is black on top and my preference. 155 mph is top speed 👌

Amazing car! I think they were limited to 155mph. My XJR certainly was lol, you should have a go with a supercharged one. With the cost of fuel and 15ish mpg they'll be going for buttons now! The joke is they'll pass anything but a petrol station. They feel like they're trying to headbutt the horizon lol

It's just the most beautiful car I've ever seen! 😍 probably not a gold one with those wheels on it but the last of that model, say an 05 plate with the mesh front and 20 inch wheels

Wrong. The later cars are LESS attractive. They have heavier/bulkier looking bumpers, side skirts- which delete the E-Type like curved sills, and 20 inch wheels *RUIN* the ride quality. 18 inch is the best compromise for ride/handling/roadholding. Everybody I know with 20 inch rims says the ride is harsh- which negates the purpose of the car as a luxury GT. The earlier XK8's have cleaner lines......

Those mag wheels look a lot like American Racing Torque Thrusts, I actually like them for that very reason.

The exciting acceleration comes with the XKR 4.2 which is supercharged, then you really need to hang on. The XKR is electronically limited to 155mph.

Good stuff. 6900 RPMs feels better in the 4.0 than the 4.2 or the supercharged editions IMO. Enjoy! 🏴‍☠️🏁

Very nice car. My only critique is the rear bumper seems out of place. Jaguar should have designed it better.

It was said that the management required the boot to take 2 sets of golf clubs. Hence the ungainly rear. Inexcusable in a Jag!
