Have a Viggen convertible, 900 T16S 2 DR and a 1997 9000 CSE 2.3 Turbo I bought as a winter beater 8 months ago. It has turned out to be a keeper and is currently undergoing an engine swap as I love it like the children I have never had :) Wafty ride, economical even with abbott racing ECU, tonnes of boot space with the seats down and epic tape player and amp combo.

My dad had a 9000 cde turbo for about 10 years from 1993. That thing was a bit of a nightmare to be honest. Pretty much everything broke on that car even including the rubbers falling off the doors. Stranded us a few times, overheated, etc. Was having a bit of nostalgia and found this video

Another quirky feature i found on my 9000 is the mirrors can fold back and lock in place for when parked i found this out bye accident bumping into it as i passed it

They are designed to push air flow across the window to clear the rain. Clever people these SAAB engineers

Mine too. Saab did funny things towards the end of the 9000 run in 1998.

Hi everyone, I think the high pressure turbo cse model's have the turbo gauge and the low pressure turbo cs model does not have a turbo gauge, I could be wrong
