Geoff....recently started watching your videos. Started with the Buxton one (where I currently live) and then the Wales ones. I am also originally from near Warrington (a small town called Golborne.) However, I haven't lived there since I was 19 many years ago. You remind me of my late father who used to also go to Thailand. He used to go with about 6 mates and he would try to get me to go, but I never did. Regret it now, especially as he died in 2015. I admire your enthusiasm and positivity. My late father had a friend with a similar attitude, who was very popular and he would always say 'life is not a rehearsal....you only get one crack at this....' Maybe you could start using that as your new catchphrase!

Hi geoff, good video there pal, as you know I was in pat tayra week before last, beer garden, rented a car and drove down to rayong, missed the floods in pattaya jumped on a boat to koi samet, rain for 2 days, Then drove up to nong bar dang, 8 hour drive in the rain.. Must be mad, too much rain so changed flight and now back in sunny Blackpool, booked to fly back out 28th December for a one month stay, you take care Geoff, regards Vince

There is a daily service from Krabi to Samui mate, £60, but there is also a minibus service to surathani and ferry for 500-600 baht. It take about 5-6 hours on the bus, I don't know why you don't do what not a lot of people stop at surathani on the way. Also check out Koh lanta long beach, and small islands called koh mook and koh lipe.
