I said those who have died before armageddon strikes are in a far better position than those who are alive during armageddon. She would start saying I knew enough now that if I turned away if basically be rejecting my chance. I knew deep down there was no way I could fully conform to all that. So I really was walking around feeling like 1 of these days I'm just gonna have to suck it up and take the loophole. I figured I'd be able to feel when the time was right. Not much to look forward to if your a JW. Even if you survive armageddon and make it to live on a new paradise earth, they'll be kept so busy preaching and teaching newly resurrected unrighteous ones, there'll be no time left to enjoy paradise. I’ve wondered about this. I heard years ago, if you think the preaching work is complete when the end comes…. No, it’s only just begun. I’ve not read this in any scripture. The problem I have with JW, is the plethora of man made ideas, most around control, to never let you free of the idea that you will be accountable above and beyond normality. I mean, will they continue the monthly field service report? Pioneering in the new system… I can only imagine… I’d have more respect if they mentioned the scripture about new scrolls being opened up in the new world and… we don’t actually know what our roles will be or how things will unfold. Not everything requires an in-depth answer whereby they make it up as they go along.

Wasn’t there a scripture about a few ones that gloated, it didn’t end well for them. I also think about that scripture in Revelation that says get out of her my people, sometimes I’m convinced that it’s one’s like us that scripture refers to. Jw’s sins have massed clear up to heaven on all accounts. So many things I’m disappointed with, I’m 41 and I’ve lost the better years to this despicable excuse for earthly representation of god. The 2005 Branch guidelines for handling elders with prior history of touching children was the final nail in the coffin for me. The forgiveness was overwhelming, as were the excuses to how they can remain in their position… pages and pages of sweeping it under the rug. Then I was criticized for having it verified, I was told I should be ashamed that I’ve broken privacy and view documents not meant for me.

Nothing repulses them, nothing bothers them. A sister I knew ended her life in her car at the Kingdom Hall car park because she couldn’t face the elders. The standard response, even though many were shocked was “oh well, she’ll get a resurrection” will she? I remember them saying those ones who do that, won’t be resurrected so which is it. But not one of them I knew thought this was anything other than what it was, sad but ah well “she’s made it”.. 27 years old. To follow on from that scripture.. get out of her “my people” I thought witnesses weren’t apart of her to begin with so what’s there to get out of. I’ve read the entire chapter, so I’m not taking it out of context… her shameless luxury? Funny how everyone high up in churches generally live in luxury, I’ve been to bethel in upstate.. and like the Catholics no one knows where the money goes, and thank you Splane for saying it’s ok to ask the elders where the money is… ah yeah right, lies. In " Paradise", they show such nice homes. Beautiful windows, bricks, sized lumber, painted homes, shingles. And the homes are in beautiful settings; remote wilderness. I didn't see any candles, so they use electricity, powerd by wind or solar. Clothing doesn't last forever, so they will need new clothing. All of which begs the question; who will be making all of these things? They will need roads, maintained, trucks, etc. So that means fuel, drilling and refining of the petroleum. So what has changed? They will have mundane meaningless jobs, for all of eternity? They would need copper mined, to make into wire, to wrap into coils, then transported, to the factory to assemble into a generator. Then driven into the wilderness to be used by some lucky person, who will be home to enjoy it. While others are doing the same work that they have always done. There are so many things that would be needed to attain the level of "Paradise", it would only be a Paradise for the few. Even nails to build the homes, think if all what is required. Unless God is going to make it all out of thin air, it's not a Paradise.

Why does the WT God have to be such a murderous God? When God created life in Genesis chptr one, everything was created to perfection. Then Jehovah comes along in Genesis chptr 2. The 'Resurrection of the unrighteous ' has always been an uncomfortable conversation and a rather darkly comical, surreal, scenario that was often a subject for debate when I was a witness. Firstly, most of the time if this ever came up on the door (and it did from time to time) the householder would ask it from a preconceived (as I understood it) misconception that witnesses believed all non-believers were going to die at armaggeddon. I certainly don't think this was ever what the WBTC openly said as most witnesses I ever knew didnt honestly believe that was the case and nobody ever admitted that was the doctrine. Most times it was 'only Jehovah can judge a person's heart and mind.' That was kind of the skirt round the issue stock answer which is really what the Bible says. It talks about Jesus separating the sheep from the goats and a Resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. Seems the WBTC are now saying that only baptised witnesses alive at Armaggedon are worthy, this sort of black and white thinking seems to be a return to the 70's and early 80's . As for Resurrection of the unrighteous most witnesses I knew (Lloyd; you grew up in the Jdubs like me- odd as it might sound to some if I had a fiver for every time the 'will Hitler get a second chance? ' question came up- it was a pretty regular one ; surreal as the moral dilemma is. I digress! Most Witnesses I knew felt he was 'toast' as he was guilty of crimes against the Holy spirit. Persecution of the witnesses; Killing conscientious catholics etc also there was the not insignificant matter of 6 million Jews and generally precipitating the Earth into the most costly period of death and misery the world has ever experienced. There were some who always used to point to the wickedness of the Israeli King Mannasseh who God apparently forgave . The idea to me that somehow a witness who goes out and sells books on the street is somehow more deserving than a woman who has given up.her comfy life and works in an African hospital looking after orphaned kids whose parents have died of Aids , or an NHS nurse who has given her all for sick kids with cancer or elderly people with dementia ..this is what makes differences in lives

Hi, Lloyd. I promised you that if I found where I recalled reading that people such as Hilter would not be resurrected. So far, I have not found anything. I asked a few fellow Ex-JDubs that were in the organization the same time I was. They can't recall anything about the subject. It might've been that I heard a talk in which someone mentioned this, and I'm thinking that I read it in the WT's literature. I'll keep looking just in case.

I'm guessing that Hitler's persecution of the Bible Students could be taken as an implicit rejection of their message. But Hitler was hardly the most prolific mass murderer in history. Stalin, Khan, Tepesh, Pizzaro et all will be given a 2nd chance in the New System. I sure hope for Gandhi's sake that he didn't have the misfortune of hearing the good news in his lifetime...
