Be careful here. The conflict of forces on executive teams that current management practices impose is not trivial. It is a problem of integrity, to be sure, but the lack of authenticity is built deeply into the systems themselves. That said, we still have to solve for it, and that does require us to behave with a level of authenticity that is not normally acknowledged.
