Sunlight takes 4 mins to reach one longitude to another i.e for 15 longitude it needs 4×15=60 mins that is 1 hr .As earth rotates from west to east,and as time is calculated taking prime meridian as reference.Therefore if it is 12 pm in prime meridian then on 15degree west it will be (12-1) =11pm.

That is why earth has 24 time zones as 1 time zone=1hr=60mins=15 longitude . Therefore total longitudes=15×24=360.

15°W pe 11 am bajate hoga wls 15° needs to travel take time of 1 hour so 0°is 12 and wls so 15°W will lose 1h so 12-1=11 ∆ the time atm of 15°w = 11am
