So in short, Bolivia has : 1. World's highest Capital - *La Paz* 2. World's highest Lake - *Titicaca Lake* 3. World's Largest Mirror - *Salar De Uyuni in Winters* 4. World's most dangerous road - *The Death Road* (debatable) 5. World's largest salt flat - *Salar De Uyuni in Summer* 6. World's driest desert - *Atacoma Desert* Jesus, what an underrated country.

+AugustanFinn no we don't! That's an stereotype, we don't hate Americans at all. Usually foreigners are treated really good here (obviously there are exceptions) but even then Bolivians are known for being welcoming towards foreigners in general. Most of the country don't share the same political views as the U.S. But that comes from a background...

Even though Sucre does mean sugar in french. The city of Sucre was named after el Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Antonio Jose de Sucre (Great Marshal of Ayacucho Antonio Jose de Sucre). A Venezuelan who fought throughout South America for independence from Spain and was the second President of Bolivia. Also Bolivia was named after Simon Bolivar (first president), another Venezuelan responsible for the independence of Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela and even Panama which was part of Colombia those days...

I didn't hear anyone mention the Mayan people.

09:47 no Acre war . Brazil never had armed border conflicts with any of its 10 neighbours. All border conflicts were solved peacefully (diplomatically ) during 19 and early 20 century either by border treaty or arbitration. In the case with Bolivia ("Acre war") the Petrópolis treaty of 1903 finally ended the border conflict with Bolivia. Bolivia yielded part of its territory to Brazil in change for some money + railway construction between Madeira and Mamoré river ( the Percival Farquhar affair) allowing ocean acces to Bolivia (since the end of war of the Pacific ,in 1883, Bolivia lost acces to ocean) helping both Bolivia and Brazil flow off the rubber to the world (Henri ford 's need for tires).

The name Sucre comes from Antonio Jose de Sucre, the Venezuelan general that basically created the country when it was still part of Peru after they broke from the Spanish Empire. BTW the name Bolivia comes from Simon Bolivar, the Venezuelan leader that lead the independence of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.

In Bolivia there are many very large reserves, which could include a country like Uruguay. You can not just grow anywhere, that's why only the land is used for cultivation. And I personally see it better like that, more green better: V

As half Bolivian and having visited many times and heard stories from my mom and grandma, it’s such a beautiful country that has so much for people to see and so cheap but not many people know about it. Definitely go visit Bolivia if you have the chance, so much culture and beautiful sites. On top of the places in the video, there’s even Torotoro national park which is like Jurassic park’s landscape with dinosaur fossils and footprints
