Two things - Kenya is also known as the land of contrasts because you can find every climatic condition in Kenya. Tourism is big in Kenya and what we now know as "Safari" was born in Kenya. Secondly - Chama is a special mary-go-round. You come together in a group and draw lots so that you know the order of the sharing from the first to the last. You (each person) then make a monthly contribution of an agreed amount which is all given to the first person, then the next person in month two, and so on. Once every person has had a turn, you draw lots again and start a fresh round. Lastly - Mpesa was born in Kenya and the rest of the world copied and has been trying to catch up with Kenya as far as that is concerned.
