Near where I grew up in Birmingham, AL, there is an old Catholic church and currently the priest there is a Vietnamese man who became a priest in Vietnam and was transferred to the US by the Catholic leaders when the old priest passed away. I got to meet him when the company I worked for was installing some new speakers to replace the old ones from like 1970. He has such a fascinating story of how he ended up moving to the US and is one of the nicest people I've ever met.

As a Filipino coffee-lover, I think visiting Vietnam is now on my bucket list. Their cuisine is highly underrated and in my honest opinion, probably one of the best (if not THE best) in Southeast Asia (probably could make a case for Indonesian cuisine being better, but whatever.) Out of all the cuisines in SE Asia, which are almost entirely rice-and-noodle-based, they definitely have the best dishes centered around *bread.*

For example, people still litter garbages in everywhere they visited, some merchants saled their goods, souvenirs with extremely high cost and so on. Nevertheless, our awareness about environment are more and more enhanced. In overall, Vietnam is a friendly country for friends around the world to visit and get experiences. I am from North Eastern part of India(the melting pot Headquarter of Indo-Aryan, Chinese and South East Asian culture in Asia) Mainland Indians always confuse us for Chinese,Vietnamese or Thai. The region has three Christian majority states (Sino-Tibetan group) and 1 Christian majority state belonging to the Mon-Khmer group and the other three states that are Hindu and Buddhist East Asian and Indo-European looking people. Come visit when you can, you will be surprised I tell you.

I've been to almost 80 countries and Vietnam is in my top 10, it ticks so many boxes... Great natural sights, amazing food, good cultural history, low prices, friendly locals when they're not trying to scam you but if you're prepared you're fine... It seems chaotic but everything just works

I'm not sure if the charm was intentional here, or if I just have a quirky sense of humor- But for some unexpected & unknown reason, the whole "magic water" bit from 14:29-14:36 made me laugh WAY more than it should have!
