Tips for Portugal: Those houses were too big to be Portuguese. Idk how to explain, but the size of the houses gave me a polish flash back, so I was thinking more Eastern Europe. I was sure it was not Portugal, but I can see how you thought that, cause I was doubting myself at a point. But again, those houses were too big (seems like 2 or 3 generation house, we don't do it that often) Hope you do a straight line for Portugal, Iberian peninsula keeps on being an ass to you 😊

Tips for distinguishing Canada from the U.S.: - U.S. usually has writing on their traffic signs, Canada almost never does. For example U.S. yield signs literally say "Yield" and railway crossings say "Rail Road Crossing", whereas in Canada both are blank because the meaning is already obvious from the ▽ or X shape. Similarly, the U.S. often has text on warning signs (yellow diamond), but Canada always uses symbols instead. If there is text, it will be on a rectangular tab below the diamond sign. - Concrete paving is extremely rare on residential streets in Canada. For that reason it is extremely unlikely that the one at 18:58 could have been in Canada. - Canada uses standard English spelling, not U.S. spelling. For example, at 7:55 it would be "Centre", not "Center". That said, you do occasionally find American spellings in Canada on commercial signs, so you need to be careful. But, if you see an American spelling on an official building like a school, community "center", etc, you know for sure it's the U.S. And if you see standard spelling anywhere you know for sure you are in Canada. - It can also be handy to learn which states or provinces have front license plates and which don't, because states and provinces across the border from each other often have the opposite rules. For example, all of the States in the plains require a front license plate, but only 1 out of 3 Provinces in the plains does. So at 1:42, given that you knew you were in the plains, you had to be in Canada. - Speed limit signs in Canada say "Maximum" whereas the ones in the U.S. say "Speed Limit". (Because "maximum" is spelt the same in both English and French, but "speed limit" isn't). The Canadian ones are also in km/h (number ending in "0") while the American ones are in mph (number ending in "0" or "5"), but I'm sure all the viewers here already knew that.

Hello! For future reference in rounds like the one at 20:00 where you say you can't use the sun due to the hour of the day, you can always look at the orientation of architectural features in houses. I can't really say for sure if it would have been useful here because your face is on top of the compass, but usually windowed fronts of houses are facing towards the sun, either south or north depending on the hemisphere, and windowless facades like garage doors and blind walls from bathrooms and other service/private features of the house face away from the equator. Again, sometimes architects are bad architects and this won't be useful, but if you pay attention you'll notice that all the garages in the neighborhood faced the same direction, if this direction was north you could have assumed you were on the northern hemisphere, therefore resolving the issue of an unusable sun. (let us see the compass next time lol) Edit: Went ahead and checked it, turns out it's just a case of bad capitalist architects that copy and paste the same model of house 300 times on a neighborhood regardless of things like the orientation or the individual human needs each different family has. oops
