Geoguessr - the quest to region guess - Canada!

First game, round 5, is not that far from where I grew up (about a 10-15 minute drive). Right away I knew it was BC and either Vancouver area or Vancouver Island. But, once I saw the street signs, I knew roughly where it was in the Victoria area.

Bro region guessing Canada is hard af, good job. BC is pretty much the only place I can consistently guess, although the rare times you get central provinces those aren't too hard. I find the hardest thing to be pinpointing in central Canada and the east, BC is easier and random parts of the east and west look like each other at times when it is unexpected!

thank you!! I totally agree, BC is the easiest to get or maybe Yukon which is pretty distinct too, I basically learned from this video that knowing the # plates gets you like 70% the way there!

As a Canadian, the blue no front license plate is what gave away that it was Nova Scotia and not Alberta on that one. Other than that, you've done a marvellous job

the dawson creek one is flat prairie. u can rule alberta because of the chevron gas stn (b.c. yukon only)

I was doing this and I came up with a fake meta that kind of worked: Alberta grass. It kind of looks like wheat. I used it on your third round and, sure enough, it was Alberta 😂 Sometimes, I find that some BC rounds can look like Ontario or Quebec, or vice versa.
