It is wrong to say that Nehru visited Russia after the USA in (1955). He visited Russia in 1927 and was extremely impressed by communist way of governance and economics. Hypocrisy is the name of the West when it comes to India. India has to be very careful with China and the West because they do not want India to develop and progress. India is wise enough to deal with these Nations and I think it will be able to handle the situation.
@oceanwave45022 ай бұрын
The West just wants to develop India 'enough' so that India can fight China 'effectively'. The risk for the West: they support India too much (e.g. tech transfer), but then China and India make peace together. Suddenly the West would have to deal with TWO Chinas (one for manufacturing, one for service job). ➔ The end of western civilization! 😀

(1:14:05) You are wrong the Caste based politics empowered the dipressed Castes and forced the so called Upoercaste Savarna Politic Parties that they have to give the proper representation to the Bahujans (SC-ST-OBC). The main reason behind the backwardness of bihar is first, the Castist mindset of the Upper Castes of the Bihar who deliberately try to keep illiterate the majority of the backward population of bihar. Second the political instability in bihar even before the Lalu Yadav which no Savarna so called intellectual try to mention before blaming the Caste politics. Third was the nature disasters. And all above three reasons together lead to criminal activities and law and order problems, which became the ultimate reason behind the backwardness of Bihar. If you are not the local of bihar then don't try to impose your Castist narrative on others to spread propaganda using Bihar as an example. Because you don't want caste politics then why don't you abolish the caste system? Because since Independence of India all the PM were come from Savarna political parties and Savarna families. But now because the bahujans became aware of their own Rights now the same Savarna so called intellectuals keep crying on caste politics. 😠😡🤬
@be122 ай бұрын
You're a symptom of your own malady. Get your sorry self into a city and no employer will reject you because you're a "bahujan" as all they care about is work / money. The problem with caste based politics is both "bahujans" and "savarnas" vote for their own sub-sub-subcaste, as they believe it, and not for the effectiveness of the politician. This is unfortunately true outside Bihar as well, although less insane.

Education reform at grassroots level in Pakistan is needed , especially non Islamic education and true historical knowledge. Unless that’s done , there’s zero chance.

Root of the problem between pak and India is Kashmir. If Kashmiris were ok with Indian rule, pak could not do anything. They feel wronged and obliged to help the Kashmiri freedom fighters. Pak army is of course taking advantage of the situation. If India let Kashmiris decide what they want then Pakistan has no quarrel with India. This of course will not happen because India knows what the Kashmiris want.

One incontrovertible point raised by the author deserves special attention of the Indian public at large. He highlighted that Indians, including politicians and those who proclaim to be intellectuals and journalists go abroad and talk bad about their own country. Those guys are so stupid and have such a slavish mentality that they are barely capable of realizing that they are privately laughed at and ridiculed by the very people who provide them with an audience. It's act of treason against the State. Indians have an incredible degree of freedom of speech. In some advanced countries the same degree of freedom enjoyed by Indians would have been suffocated by invisible means. I have listened to Indian politicians and journalists expressing hostile sentiments to large audiences in Washington, Oxford debates and elsewhere. Lunatics do not realize that their freedom stops where India's nose begins. As an external observer, I find that the worst enemies of India are found within India. As long as India fails to tackle this problem, India will not sustain its pace of advancement in the decades to come. Modi seems to have the clarity and resolve. It takes only a few traitors to counter the resolve and harm India and the Indians. It's the first time that I find an Indian raising this concern. Otherwise, it has been great to listen to this intelligent interview. Very enriching.

What a host - please learn to speak English correctly. There is no such thing as a 'distinct career' - what you were perhaps trying to say is - the guest had a 'distinguished career' according to you & many. India's neighbourhood policy failed in 77 years except that they managed to divide Pakistan which led to Bangladesh being an independent state which always was ruled by Indian proxies to some extent. In Bangladesh 2.0, India has lost the plot so they are regrouping and trying to bring back Hasina like puppet who left the country on her own accord due to the magnitude of her crimes against humanity. Upper echelons from Pakistan Army are useless but the threat from RSS is not mere rhetoric that threat exists against Bangladesh as well as India (at least Bangladesh has Professor Yunus ---- its better than having a tea seller at the helm any day but please let him rule the country peacefully and dont create distractions and anti-Yunus propaganda through your mediocre media). Before India can make a move in Bangladesh, China will take over her lost territory. Thats where Indian foreign policy needs to do some soul searching and learn to live with its neighbours by mutually respecting each other.

Our scale provides incetive for innovation and tech as economy grows. Indian has best spiritual systems which will act as soft power on west eventually. West has lot of fault lines and we can align with them for our own intrests. Please end this drama with USA and Canada for now
