Wait, does the comic refer to them as zombies? I thought the movie was famous for never referring to them as zombies (even in the script referring to them as ghouls not zombies, probably more accurate considering zombies weren't really cannibals until after this movie, just undead slaves).

Can't remember if they do in the comic, but the movie DOES at least once refer to them as zombies, when the bikers bust in and they're talking over the walkie-talkie: "There'll be a thousand zombies around they have to deal with."
