On the automotive Mount Rushmore, the legendary George Barris is a shoo-in for a spot up there! The man designed the iconic Batmobile for the TV show with Adam West. No further explanation needed! That's why anytime Richard Rawlings hears of a vehicle with the Barris name attached to it, he's already there.
Even with all of the crazy vehicles that George Barris has made/designed, this one still stumped Richard! What could it be? See for yourself!

Hello Richard. I am an EHHS alumnus. Class of 76. My Dad had a Restaurant on Wieler Blvd.and Edderville Rd. The Shrimp Bucket. Ever eat there? Was Mr. Hill the wood shop teacher still at Eastern Hills when you were there? Coach Blocker? I once drove my 67 impala around the track on a Sunday. The biggest donut I've ever done.back in the mid 70s. Anyway, keep the energy and fun shows coming.

what makes it better is there is no set formula, we could see mini bikes today, a COE truck tomorrow, who knows what the next. Actually, Richard works on a larger scale, but that's how I like to do business, dicker on the price a bit, of course, but when you get a good price, boom do the deal. Lots of people say Richard is an asshole.... and that is probably true... but will you idiots differentiate between a professional asshole and all the lame amateurs and wannabes!

When I was 11 I had 3 paper routes saved my money till I had a little over 200 bucks. I went down to the Uniroyal store. They had some awesome minibikes. They had a dark green, black seat, 3 and a half horse clinton engine. I laid down a little over 200 dollars for it, Out the door it would do 50 m.p.h. A friend if mine had a 5 h.p. bike mine would keep right up with it. We rode those things everywhere. Man those were good times.. They are selling anywhere from 2.000 to 3500 hundred dollars now. Crazy!!

Didn't know you had a channel till a few days ago - really missed the show and caught up you and Dennis! Love the classic cars. My dad did body work and painted cars on the side from his job as a welder. I used to help mask off cars and helped him with my Nova. You'll make fun of the year - it was a 74, but still wasn't the totally uglified one a few years later and the clown car they ended the line with! Look forward to catching up on the rest of the videos!

Boy does this bring back old memories. I had one back in the mid 60s that I can't tell you how many motors that I went through because I road hundreds of miles every year around the countryside of Illinois. I even added an auxiliary fuel tank because of some of the distances I road until one day when my recoil broke and I had to wrap the cord around the external pulley to start it and when I pulled it the knot wrapped around the auxiliary fuel line which in turn caught the spark plug wire and pulled that off which caused the gas to ingnite. I just stood there and watched the minnie bike burn to the ground. Sad but a lot of good memories on that bike as a young boy.

I don't know anyone who bought a minibike back in the 60's. Everyone I knew made their own. My buddy Pete Economos had a fast little machine. It had no throttle. It was set to full speed at all times. To stop it, you had to use a stick to pull the wire off the spark plug, or you'd get shocked bad. Our street ended at a busy highway, so you HAD to stop before reaching that death trap. I dropped the stick, so it was either shock city, or certain death. #GoodTimes
