Nice pacing. I love this. Has almost a 90's vibe when I was in my late teens and early 20s when shit was so relaxed and carefree.

Great transcription. This is undoubtably the best way to learn; by playing the works of others. Jazz has grown and developed over the years because musicians copied one another and then brought their own thing to the game. Even Charlie Parker, probably the father of modern jazz, was well known to have copied Lester Young and Dorsey. After 40 years of learning to play the guitar I still play transcriptions. Most of the time I do the transcribing myself. I am still learning. I believe that the person who does the transcribing gets the most benefit from the process. I felt compelled to write this after reading a negative comment about transcriptions. Keep it up. This stuff is food for the serious jazz student.

Hi, I'm really impressed by your submission to YTube. I'm workin on GB Breezin LP, but even with all the long time spend, I can't appraoch what your able to do. I like your job. As i have not GP6 i have not access to the tab. Could it be possible to put it either on GP5 or pdf form. Keep on. (sorry for my french english....) Gilles

Nice , however George makes up his own solos. As a guitarist, I find a lot of people copy off folks but that is not what it is about. Learning the skeleton of the song and then learning to do your own solo patterns and mastering them is what it is about not copying.

@travelingman97638 жыл бұрын
Musical artists borrow but at the end of the day..make their own stories musically! Many who are lacking in exceptional life experiences have to imitate just to get paid enough. GB is no academic!
@thebomontellano49967 жыл бұрын
flyinghorse13 that is the skeleton of the song. He's teaching people the basic Melody. Then you can improvise it and make the instrumental into your personality.
@chrisrueda97047 жыл бұрын
I desagree becaue if you are homenaging an artist first you have to copy the master piece totally and afte you can jam what you want..
