For me there were two fantastic movie-theater experiences. 1) The Rocky Horror Picture Show. For those who don't know, it was,at least, formerly, a very fun interactive experience! (is it still?) The first time I saw it it was very fun, but I didn't know all the common responses to what was happening on screen. I picked that up during that experience. When I went off to school, I told my new friends we had to go because it was so fun. But nobody in that viewing was participating! I felt so disappointed! (I think that happened because theaters staeted cracking down on audience participation, which was sometimes messy. But was mostly not!) 😕 The second one was Monsters Inc, to which I went with my friend when we were both young adults. There were many children in attendance. There was one child with his parents sitting right in front of us. Towards the end of the movie there was a somewhat sad scene, and the little boy stood upon his chair and said, "I think it's time to get going now. Let's get going." It was so cute and I think might've been my favorite part of the movie experience!

The funniest Paul Newman story is in The Sting movie extras. How George Hill asked Paul to bring some drinks by for a casual meeting in his office, and Paul sent him a bill the next day for a 6 pack and a mickey of vodka for like $8.73. George then sends Paul a umpteen page letter on the 'principles of friendship'. To which Paul went into George's office on the weekend and literally sawed apart all his furniture. And on and on. And the way Paul tells it like it's 'standard practice' in Hollywood. Hilarious! As for laughing out loud with comedies at home - George and Brad in Burn After Reading. The funniest movie since Raising Arizona! I get noise complaints still when I watch it. :)
