Wow, he mentioned he got the piano from David L. Abel. this man allowed me as a kid to come into his store during summer, x-mas & spring vacations and play on the synths all day long with headphones on...back during late 70's-early 80's. It was good to hear his name, especially from Duke.

I write and record a song every day in January as part of a thing called Jamuary. I have been doing that since 2019. A few of my favorites have used the George Duke Soul Treasures as a starting point. Thank you for making this!

He seems like such a nice guy which already seems evident from the fact that he even made this happen. Also I love how he says Wurlitzer and Bossendorfer. Also check out the Mutron Biphase. ill. I wish he was my uncle and I could eat mash potatoes and listen to his Zappa road stories.

Aww shit. (sorry for the people that I offend for not knowing him) but I went to look up who George Duke was before I bought this, realising that he passed away 3 weeks ago! R.I.P. to him, he seemed like a lovely guy. I'm definitely getting his software.

So cool to see his son Rashid watching and learning the business from him. Sorry to hear the house and the studio was recently sold. Seems like such a waste. It took George a while to get the studio up and running the way he wanted and when he finally did he became ill and passed away. I thought his son would have kept it going, but maybe it was too much to maintain. Great video though!!!

Cool textures and vibe. If you use small chops of this I think it could be cool... All about the approach of the actual use of the product... I'm curious to demo it.

I agree with you. But it's a cool product for me to "play around" and maybe make some samples myself. But i definitly think that kids who take up music should start out the old fashioned way. Did you know that Prince said no to Guitar Hero (and millions of $) because he also thought that kids should learn the guitar by actually playing the guitar:)
