I looked it up also, tuscany almost 8 times smaller then north dakota, but 5,5 times more inhabitants. I found a site that said there 4800 houses for rent in tuscany 😂

I think you mean 9000 square miles, not 9 miles squared - which would be 9 x 9 or 81 square miles, so it is a very big difference.
