"El combate de las edades". Y es que se enfrentaba un aspirante de 42 años ante un campeón de 29. Muy pocos dieron oportunidades de victoria a Foreman pero no se descartaba nada. Foreman absorbió la primera combinación de Holyfield. Pero el veterano luchador se mostró como un rival duro de roer aguantando los doce asaltos e incluso haciendo balancear a Holyfield en el séptimo. Oddly, it was difficult to choose who to root for because most folks loved them both so much. I decided to root for George Foreman because his story will never be repeated in a million years. Untill Foreman ran out of gas . But even Ali knew would if he would go face to face with George from the start , then George would have put him to sleep 100% . This is why Foreman is the best heavyweight of all time. Even though he lost to Ali, he had a second career after that and did what nobody ever did before. Foreman was the knockout king of boxing, was built like a tank, had almost endless stamina, etc. He had no weaknesses in his game. Imagine a fighter that could hit like Mike Tyson, absorb punches like Ray Mercer, and had the stamina to go 12 rounds if needed. If Foreman and Ali had a trilogy of fights instead of just one fight, I think Foreman wins the next two fights.

No...I dont think Foreman or Tyson would have been able to defeat Ali because of the style of fighting.. Foreman had the attacking style...he went forward to fight...fighting on front foot...but Ali had a mixed style...he played both moving forward and stepping bachward..i.e.both attacking & defensive...when he could not attack much...he defended very well and tired the opponent playing 10-12 rounds... and when the opponent got fully tired, Ali went forward and go for the kill

I see Holyfield tagging with a couple of well placed body hooks and quick shots to the face but the big man just walks right through them. He doesn’t seem the least bit disturbed by a lot of them. Dude is a great for a reason. Also loving Holyfield’s movement. Nice footwork and speed for a heavyweight :) also moves fluidly (even now)

Marciano,Tyson, Frazier, match up well against the Ali and Holmes but not the Foreman, and tyson Fury Foreman and tyson fury would kill tyson and Frazier. really want to know if the Liston Ali fight was rigged?

Sheha the Ali Liston second fight might have been rigged but without Ali's knowledge. You can hear Ali yell at Liston something like " Get up you're not going to do that " Ali's bravado and big mouth was to promote fights to get big money. I remember these fights when they happened and as a teenager I figured out that Cassius Clay was putting on a show. Almost all his opponents have gone on record as loving him.George Foreman said Ali wasn't just the best boxer, he was the best person period.

Reminds me of the fight between ibeabuchi and David Tua, both just kept going and neither one of could KO each other. I gotta hand it to Foreman here, though he lost by decision that dudes got stamina. Evander may as well been punching a tree. That foreman is tough as oak boards. Evander would have KO'd the average boxer easily with those hits but not with iron chin Foreman. Btw, most hits thrown in a boxing match to this day was the fight between ibeabuchi and David Tua. If you liked this fight you'd definitely like that one... one badass match.
