He didn't make it like Brain surgery like the people who "chase his sound with the pound " ,( buying a Gibson ,they sound etc , then Abbott monarch ,yet never pausing to actually play it or practice )GF style as much as it's been emulated by great players like Andy Eastwood , Randall before , ( Randall played more like Tessie O'Shea than GF, if you listen and you can spot on pm me , never *PLAYED A SPLIT STROKE*)will agree that you hardly could hear the uke during his vocal,but by God he delivered when it mattered , speed wise I'm sure "You don't need a license for that " was his fastest solo and a close second " I told my baby with the ukulele"( aka GFS practice piece ) ,irony is he didn't know he was a pioneer of the style
