George Galloway on Hypocrites at the Oxford Union

George Galloway

Жыл бұрын

George spoke at the Oxford Union on the 90th anniversary of the famous/infamous King and Country debate.
From the Oxford Union: On 9th February 1933, Oxford Union members voted 275 to 153 in favour of the motion 'This House will under no circumstances fight for its King and Country', a result met with outrage from the political establishment. Sir Winston Churchill described the vote as an 'abject, squalid, shameless, avowel', citing it as a reason for Adolf Hitler's later brinkmanship. Ninety years to the day after this motion was first put to the House, would this house still not fight for its sovereign and kingdom?
Recorded on Thursday 9th February 2023

As an American, I was deeply moved to tears by this man's words. I think the civilized world is tired of these endless wars and conflicts that have nothing to do with our national security but instead fill the coffers of the military industrial complex and the world banks. So many of our "leaders" need to rot in hell for the death and mutilation they have caused.

There's always a price to pay, you may think you have escaped scot free in this life for your crimes and sins but......I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of these murderous mongrels when they inevitably face the consequences of their actions in the next. I concur, mate. When I find myself applauding a video on You Tube I can safely say I've been moved. George is one of the finest of orators in my opinion (but he's still reviled by many in the UK as a 'nutter and an extremist') Forever portrayed as a crank for some silly gig he had 20 years back, on a 'reality' TV show that was anything but 'reality.' This was a great speech. One, of course that presented views that the establishment here and around the world would recoil from in absolute shame, if they ever allowed the sentiments into their stoney hearts.

I have been wondering how he came to losing his MP seat? After hearing this address before the Oxford Union, it became clear to me that such a free and uncontrollable mind can't be allowed to be given the floor in whatever assembly or any platform for fear of destabilising the establishment. Sooner or later, a revolution may erupt because he would have succeeded in raising awareness throughout the kingdom. May he always be alert when driving on or crossing any western world's road because his speeches are working against the interests of the 'cosa nostra'. May tge Almighty God continue to lay his hand on him and his family. 🙏🙏🙏

You forgot the most important part. That is that you do not cast Pearls Before Swine. People need to stop with facial menstrual cycles because the swine isn't listening and they don't care what you think. At this point if he isn't going to pick up a gun and go in there and accomplish something for a change then it is just more wasted breath. After all that speech not one damn thing changed. That's how everyone needs to understand the ignorance and idiocy of today. Either pick up a gun and change it or sit back and love it. No one is listening anymore. The only language people of today understand and deserve is violence.

I think there was some merit in that statement; along with the one he made about Syria and the broader ME a few years ago. We do need to "let them sort it out themselves" in the ME.
