Quote by GEORGE HARRISON ~ "It's being here now which is the important thing. You know, there is no past and there's no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever, is the now. And we can gain experience from the past, but we can't relive it; and we can hope for the future, but we don't know if there is one." I typed this insightful Harrison quote on a word processor and had it transferred onto some beautiful paper with a red rose on it. I had it framed and proudly have it displayed in my bedroom. R.I.P. GEORGE HARRISON.

i can relate to what he said actually. iv done it once and will do it again but i definitely feel like now i've tried it, i know everything i didn't previously understand and another trip won't make a great deal of difference. also, i believe that tripping is like going in between life and death and that death will be a purer form of tripping so there isn't a huge importance in psychedelic experiences, they're just like a movie trailer to death. unfortunately, it's impossible for me to really explain what i mean though. as he stated, you can only relate if you've tripped yourself.

Albert Parish Sorry to piss on your chips buddy, but you can have a 'good trip' and you can have a 'bad trip'......... They would be totally different I promise you. One can make you feel that the World is such a beautiful place, and the other can scare the shit out of you and make you paranoid...... So one trip won't teach you anything, except to question what we mean by reality......

@@billygoatgruff2554 i suppose lol. idk, i guess that coulda just been the sort of narrative that came out of that particular trip and that i just made it up in my head. mind you, i can't truly say i believe that's the case. it feels like a solid piece of information that iv learned and is drilled into my head which i can only pretend to ignore to try and sound sane. im actually really surprised that this happened because while iv heard of spiritual aspects to tripping, iv always just assumed that it came from hippies thatv been tripping the last couple of decades and eventually came to these weird spiritual teachings but i full on believe in god because of this ONE damn trip. i was just expecting some sweet visuals on a night out lol. i don't know how this happened

George, I love you always… but John and Paul’s songs and Paul’s nonstop workhorse ways brought you fame and fortune for YEARS until you finally found your footing in Abbey Road and soared away. It wouldn’t hurt you to be a tiny bit grateful despite their “egos” that you apparently think they don’t deserve to have. And saying you deserved equal billing from the getgo is extremely insensitive and naive since your songs weren’t anything special until ‘67…

George's resentment of being ignored during interviews during the Beatles era is the biggest reason bands break up to this day in all languages worldwide. The road manager in charge of bands should always stipulate that the interviewer must talk to AND look at all the band members sitting in on an interview to avoid jealousy and bad blood in the band. I don't know why managers don't focus on that.

He joined with John and Paul when he was 13. He was always the youngest member and probably treated like a kid, even when they became "The Beatles". I also think that having that kind of overzealous attention at such a young age (he was 20 when they hit big in the US), and never really having a real life outside of the bubble that comes with international fame, I bet it must have its drawbacks. And remember, The Beatles didn't end on a good note. It dissolved in a bitter business dispute that went on for 20 years. Even Paul didn't really like talking about The Beatles around this time. George Martin's son even said that his own dad didn't want to be thought of as just "The Beatles producer". It's impossible for any of us plebeians to even understand what it must have felt like to be in that world, despite all the fame, money, and adulation.

George was a human being. Just because someone seeks enlightenment, like George did, doesn't mean they attain perfection. I think the others got a little sick of that guru by association that people like George and Pete Townsend went through. So ask yourself "where does his ego live?" It lives in his music, and it hurts if you see yourself being marginalized. But there is competition in life and Paul, John, and George were competing with each other. They just were, it's human nature. Despite "All You Need is Love," and " the love you take is equal to the love you make." Paul was blunt. He said "we never underestimated George, by Abbey Road we knew be was peaking. It's just that when we started his songs weren't as good as ours." Paul M. has a point. As musicians though John and Paul must gave had some uh fear? Knowing that George Harrison was a genius guitar player that they hoped would never realize it.

@@sharmisthachakraborty287 Nothing wrong with having an ego. The point is where do you want to focus your ego throughout the rest of your life. What you think, feel or mind every moment of your life. Of all the four Beatles, George Harrison chose to focused his ego on spiritual wisdom, on Gurus, on God Almighty. That Is why his last words before death is Hare Krishna. Krishna is the Indian Primary personal God as discussed in the book Bhagavad-Gita. So everyone has an ego. That is his identity in this life. But others have the ego of a selfish person who wants to be always right, always superior even to Divine Being. Didn't John Lennon once said and this off hand remark of him was taken up as a magazine article "that the Beatles are more popular than Jesus" ? Next John Lennon with the 3 Beatles with their lady partners stayed in India to study with the famous Indian Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. There were other celebrities there with the Fab4. John expected selfishly maharishi would give them full focus and priority being the most famous musicians

In fairness the interviewer isn't always 100% in control of what they ask, they're more a conduit to the producers who can sometimes be in their ear saying, "Ask this" or "ask that". They aren't the only ones either, fans ask the same questions over and over as well if you've ever watched those panels they have at stuff like comic con, the same questions come up again and again.

geeterman98 They all accuse Paul of rewriting history- I think he too gets sick of the same questions-& obviously if he’s changing his answers so that we all notice why the hell ask them over & over. I for one would like to know the inspiration for the songs, not - I like hearing George’s opinions on life but then again he was criticized for preaching. They all seemed to want peace love & understanding for themselves & humanity- when George replies John was an angel I think of John’s “All we need is love” or “A day in a life”, “Come together”, “In my life” ETC. As with most good people they have flaws, but on a whole they all were/are decent men.
