@@Hugohhhgg I was so heartbroken when he passed. I was nearly the same age as Sean Lennon when John was killed and I remember it vaguely but it didn't really make sense to me as an almost five year old. George was completely different and it brought tears, especially as he must have suffered the last few months of his life. Such an amazing person to suffer so much (as many do)... I'm just glad that both Paul and Ringo got the chance to be with him and say their goodbyes as best they could since they were cruelly denied that chance with John.

He’s so underrated it breaks my heart. In literally any other band he’d have been lauded as a songwriting genius with an insanely beautiful voice, but of course he was in the Beatles with Lennon & McCartney! Even then I consider some of his songs amongst the best they produced. _Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Here Comes The Sun,_ and the glorious _Long, Long, Long_ - a little-recognised masterpiece (and Ringo’s best performance). Miss you George!

@@AndresMagnone oh I’m sure. I wasn’t alive for John or George... it’s a shame. Especially John though, I sure he’d still be here today had that not happened. I know a lot of other Beatles fans from generation z that feel the same way; like we were sort of “robbed” of all of that music, tours, them being alive in general. I also think they would still be making music just like Paul and Ringo do. But that’s it, we just have them. And I guess that’s life sadly. But we’ll see them again(or for the first time, as I mentioned) someday.

Funny enough, George Harrison did not compose "Got My Mind Set on You." Its composer is Rudy Clark, perhaps most famous for writing "Everybody Plays the Fool," a smash for the Main Ingredient. The legend is George knew "Got My Mind Set on You" from the version made by one James Ray when he bought an album by Ray that included "Got My Mind Set on You."

Listen to their Decca tapes or even their June 1962 EMI sessions. Yes, ther's energy, but there sonwriting was very limited @ that stage, the covers (which is what they mostly did) are very so so & the playing not great. Lennon on his own, no chance. But if Macca & Geroge left in 1966, the band would be over. Tht said, I liked Johns image, specially in the later Beatles (but he could be a dick regarding bringing up his children & his opinion on the Beatles music. George however, interst me the most.

I saw this video when I was about 9 years old in the late 80's. It was George Harrison who got me my exposure to the rest of the Beatles. Even though Ringo is my favorite, I have George Harrison to thank.

No I didn't know so I don't miss him at all. I am sorry that he died young. I like him and I think he and Ringo are my favourite Beatles. But no I don't miss Mr. George Harrison.
