George I felt what you were saying was so powerful about wanting to say the right thing and having the fear of leading someone in the wrong direction. I am only 18 years old and recently left my old self behind, my lukewarmness. I recently had an experience where my friend asked for advice about his girlfriend and as a human it was very tricky to answer. Just like you, I had the fear of leading my friend to the wrong direction. The conversation was over the phone. I asked God for the wisdom right then and there and then I felt God say close your eyes, I closed my eyes and trusted the Lord to give me the wisdom. He gave me the wisdom at that very moment because I had faith that he would. A day later, my friend's girlfriend talked to me, she said that they both had a conversation and she felt that the words that my friend was saying wasn't him but rather came from someone. I really see that God used me to talk through me and give wisdom to someone else when I didn't know the answer. Trust in the Lord that He will provide you with answers on the spot and trust in Him that He will lead you in the right way to lead others in the right way. Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

A gift? The guy is opposing the love of Christ and making Christianity look extremely bad, this is an extremely terrible testimony. Toxic behaviour like this, his obsession with himself, and need to be controlling will only push people away from Christianity. aww Shawna, when she broke up a bit sharing her testimony, I totally relate to that, because when I truly got saved, and when I believe I got baptized with the holy spirit, same thing, It was like the truth was within me, and that I not only knew of Jesus dying on the cross, but I FELT it inside of me, the truth was living inside of me. We have to come to an understanding that we are broken sinners, to then understand the love of God, and the love he had for us as these sinners, to send his son to die for us. So beautiful.

I started listening to ggb BECAUSE y’all are pretty lol. The church has crippled women when it tells them that their beauty is vain and TBH Christians need to take beauty back because God cares about it and it’s not inherently evil. He created it!!! It’s His very essence and beauty has the power to inspire. The problem is the devil will twist and pervert it so fast and turn it into jealousy, bad vanity, etc. Don’t be ashamed of your beauty, or feel ashamed for feeling pretty. (Remember that Rebecca was a baddie in the OT.) As long as you ask God to search your heart and intentions, that’s all that matters.
@maddy_9138 ай бұрын
yeah I agree. I’m a teenage girl who loves hair and makeup and fashion and all the girly things and seeing these girls love makeup and doing their hair makes them relatable, especially to young women, that’s what made me attracted to their podcast. They love Jesus and they look like me, in the makeup and hair sense. We should embrace our beauty but not to this worlds standards ofc. We shouldn’t be judged on how much makeup we put on or our hair etc… If we love Jesus we love Jesus and our heart and actions will show it not our appearance. (Rebecca the baddie, that made me giggle😂😂)

At the end when Shawna said you girls get a lot of flack because you’re beautiful is true! Not just “fakeness” but also the way you dress etc. it comes from a place of jealousy most of the time, and insecurity. When someone is beautiful the world sees them as people who get things handed to them on a silver platter, and that everything is easier for them. Which is CRAZY to me. The most beautiful people are insecure about different things, and often it is because they’re beautiful. They worry if they got something or someone just because of how they look. Then they feel like they have to prove their intelligence. - we all need to remember we are all humans with feelings and we need to learn to treat one another better. And like Shawna said, not to judge people by the cover. Love you girls so much, and I was always that warrior in the comments defending you on your journey. Empathy is so needed in this world. Wow. I never knew the bullying part about George's testimony. That's part of my testimony also. I was severely bullied from kindergarten to like 6th grade (my whole elementary school years) by both boys and girls. In Jr High I had no friends and in H.S, I had "friends". Anyway, as an adult, it took a looong time for me to trust ANY females and I didn't have a bff until my 30's. I'm now 50 and can't believe how wonderful and faithful God has been in giving me the BEST people as friends.... Brothers and sisters in Christ. We LOVE being around each other. We laugh, cry and most importantly PRAY with each other. God has given me, ten fold what the enemy stole for so many years.

It is obvious that you guys LOVE the lord and obey him much more than many people I have encountered in my years attending very conservative Pentecostal churches with strict modesty rules. It is also not a sin to be physically beautiful or to want to feel pretty, don't listen to the comments of people judging your looks when it is obvious that they are trying to tear you down and somehow minimize your faith, everyone's journey is different. I had previously commented on a the video before that I wanted to fast but was afraid to fail. I also ask for prayer bc I was studying intensely and was physical hurting. Testimony: I fasted and pray for 4 days (just water till 12pm) and dedicated my fast to my health and to passing my exam. God told me to prepare and he promise He would deliver. He delivered! I passed my exam. Glory and Honor to God always!! 🙌🏼

George mentioned using ur beauty for god and if I’m being honest, if you two were old and wrinkly I know personally, I wouldn’t have been so interested in your words, it’s soo inspiring to see such beautiful ppl loving god lolllll amazing role models, gets rid of poor stereotypes.

34:31 - 35:05 THE WAY ANG LISTENS TO ARI WHILE SHE WAS SPEAKING...😭😆♥️♥️♥️(Edited: George I have so much respect for you. I'm glad that you finally stood up for yourself. You were the only reason why I watched Impaulsive. I didn't have as much love for God as I do now but at the time, deep in my heart, I was hoping that God would open your eyes and impact you in a way that you would leave a very worldly podcast given that you publicly made yourself as a "Christian". When I watched you getting violated by Logan on his own show and still posted it for the whole world to see, it was truly heartbreaking. Sorry, George..Haha but I was kinda glad and I was like, "Yes, this is it. He's finally going to take a different path. " -more like a Godly path.)

It was really good to hear about George and Shawna’s relationship. There’s nothing wrong with having the man as the head of household! I am a strong feminine woman and my husband loves and appreciates me as is but I also respect him enough to listen when he calls me out. 😅 I think you girls are providing such a healthy hopeful image of what being a beautiful woman and loving God encompasses for young women. May God bless you and wrap his arms tightly around both of you as you continue on this journey. Much love!

@@TheMatrixMaverickXI too have a feeling he is not actively dying to the flesh in that aspect, but you can word it differently, preach the truth, you don't have to call him a sicko and a pervert, Now imagine if you worded it this way and spoke to him directly. "George, deep down I feel you should take celibacy seriously in your relationship, you seem to be compromising in that aspect" Instead of sounding like you're just here to give out criticism and judgment, call him out directly and correct him in love That's what makes you a Christian, and that's what makes people more receptive to rebuke and correction

I absolutely loved this episode, it might be my favorite one, GGB and The George Janko Show are my top 2 podcasts that I watch. I’m still in high school and I came to Christ Freshman year and I’ve noticed people who truly follow God are rare, even though I go to a Christian school, and its so inspiring seeing a couple that truly fears and seeks the Lord talking about gender roles and not rushing to find your future husband/wife because that so uncommon in my generation. And hearing Shawna’s testimony, I started crying with you guys. Getting to grow with you, Ari and Angela in faith has been such a blessing, and seeing gorgeous women, with a sense of humor, glorify God and seek him so hard is genuinely so inspiring to me. I used to cuss because I didn’t understand why it was a sin but in one of your episodes ya’ll explained it so well, and now I don’t swear. Love you ladies and can’t wait to see what else God has planned!❤

I love George, but he's still at the very beginning of his walk. We will definitely pray for you and Shawna, George 🙏🏼 God has big plans for you both. However, God doesn't use the devil as a tool to get us in check. That's what the Holy Spirit is for, brother. Also, if these wonderful girls feel convicted by the spirit about an Instagram posts they deleted don't make them feel like they made the wrong decision whether you agree with it or not. It's her choice regardless. Now marry your fiance already, so you're not continuing to have sex before marriage! Lol Wish you all the best. It's beautiful watching you all grow before our eyes and hope you all guide many people towards Christ in your journey 🙏

Thank you for this episode 🙏🏼💗 Angela, I loved what you said about the photo you posted and your decision to take it down. I’ve had a similar conviction come over me in the past around using my looks for validation and attention. What God showed me was that there’s a difference between feeling beautiful, honoring and celebrating that vs. using it or making it about who is looking at me or what attention I’m getting. I so appreciate you sharing so vulnerably and I love getting to see you on your walk with Jesus - the “imperfections” are relatable and it helps me give myself grace for my own walk. I appreciate that George brought it back to that - I got so much from what he shared in the end around that too. Love to you all 💗🙏🏼
