He will always be King of Country Music George Jones. Back 1970s I listen to radio stations of Country Music. Back then radio stations go off air by midnight. Those were good old days. Now today on 24/7 days week. Lots great memories of pure country music sound . Still am listening more today pure classic country music sound most radio stations. Songs kind take you back ask child. Why I enjoy country music and Nashville Tn. Pure country music sound . Watch on tv Pop Goes County and Nashville on the Road . Many other shows back was classic tv box on the floor. No one ever fill his shoes. I truly love all his classic hits songs. Have box collection cds. Records and cassette tapes. Love hear them over and over again. For miles on foot. So yes I am biggest George Jones 100%.

I love George Jones. He will definitely missed. I got to see him twice and he put on a great show . Awhile back I watched a video and someone told a story about back when he 1st stared out .... he was on the same tours as Elvis . He went out on stage before Elvis and sang some of Elvis' song's . So when Elvis got out on stage and I guess ge had to sing something different . I bet that made Elvis mad , but we can laugh about that now . I loved George Jones and Elvis Presley . I loved Tammy Wynette too . I think Nancy saved his life though . She is beautiful too .

Nancy did not save George's life at the beginning his brother and sister in law did. And has for her love for George don't make me laugh she is now married to Kirk West after kirk stole a large amount of money from the George jones museum reason it went down hill and is now no longer functioning. So she is now his ex wife not loving wife. Money hungry like all the rest that stole from George Jones. Rip legend

George is and always will be the greatest country singer ever. I met George on his bus when I was 5 years old when he was playing at my parents best friend’s dancehall in South Texas. That was in 1958. And every time he came back afterwards, I would go back to the tour bus to see my favorite singer. He always took time to visit a give me a little bit of his time. There were times when I knew he was “under the weather” but he never didn’t go on stage at Hubert’s. God bless you George.

Why do people insist he loved Tammy to the end? He said while she was still alive, he realized it was her voice he had really loved. Anyone who can really sing understands that feeling of finding the perfect partner. He stayed married to Nancy for 30 years. That's love. Even if he'd loved her she died a long time before he did. Nancy is still mourning for him after all this time, it shows on her face. People should let George rest, and respect his love for Nancy.

I don’t know why he would say that about his marriage to Tammy, he hit rock bottom after they split. I think he had bitter feelings that he never got over, plus it is something I believe he has to pretend because some things you just pretend for the happiness of others.

In his autobiography he said it was about 1978 before he got over Tammy. Nancy said when Tammy died, George didn’t sleep for about 3 days. I think their relationship was really complicated by the fame, the booze, and the pain pills and just being Country music stars. Lots of pressure. Apparently George liked Tammy’s cooking cause he said he gained about 45 pounds after they got married. Cocaine took care of his weight problem. SAD. He really is LUCKY as a person can be that he found Nancy and had the good sense to marry her. She saved his life, and he has said that repeatedly.

Romans 3:23-27 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. You and I have broke God's law Jesus paid the price that's why he it is finished before he died (John 19:30) the debt is paid if you're in court and you got all these fines the Jugde can let you go if someone else pays them God's law we broke 1: don't have any other god's 2: make no idols or worship them 3:don't take Gods name in vain 4: keep Sabbath day holy 5: keep the Sabbath day holy (Saturday) 6: don't murder (Jesus said if we hate our fellow humans we commit murder in our heart) 7:do not commit adultery (if you lust over another person you commit adultery already) 8:do not steal 9:do not lie 10: do not covet We are all sinners we all broke all of these commandments and we are all worthy of death but through Jesus we have life If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved Romans 10:9 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved Romans 10:13 Go read the book of John and confess your sins and repent from them We all sin and none is righteous we all need Jesus and without him we will die but with Jesus we have life Get baptized in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit may we meet in the sky the rapture is gonna happen very soon keep looking up

Until I watched this I always thought he loved Tammy, and I watched the mini series about there life written by there daughter. After watching it I felt like Tammy was this biggest problem in there marriage her addiction on pain pills was her first love and that guy she left Jones for just fed her addiction. Personally I felt George was to good for her. But we weren't there so we only know what we see and read.
