I imagine Nile acquiring George as their drummer was an amazing accomplishment. Mainly because on their older stuff, you can tell they were slower in speed because I guess the drummer couldn't achieve such speeds. Now that they have George, I think they've been able to go to speeds they've never thought possible. Bravo to Nile, and bravo to George, my favorite drummer. \m/

This is Inspirational to any musician, Its awesome to watch, and inspires me as a guitarist everytime I view it. I may not be a drummer, however I reference the drums as a guitarist. This dedication can be applied to any school of thought. Great thanks to Kollias for inspiring many.

what are you blabbing about Nile is the best most unique band ever they have a sound no one can pull off the guitar solo's to even the sounds of just a fret or two sound amazing the vocals sound like the dead of the underworld and the drums are bone crushing you seriously need to open your ears when you listen have you even heard all their albums i guess not George pay no attention to him your works in Nile are utterly amazing and unmeasurable thank you for all the stuff you do for us the FANS!

the man is blessed with good shin muscles
@shadowmanx3710 жыл бұрын
He uses the swivel technique, as you can see he "swings" his heels to the right and left. One advantage of this technique is, that it greatly relieves your shin muscles from over-use, cause the motion is mainly side to side, not using too much shin muscle activity :)

Trango Fast If you're going to try and get into it, I'd advise being careful about how far to the side you swivel. From experience, I can tell you that a smaller swivel is much healthier for your knees and joints than a larger one.

Totally insane drumming,I think George has proved that anything is possible,if we talk only about speed and power and stamina then George is in his own category,could anyone explain his hand technique because he really is the only drummer who can play with power at extreme speeds
@gehtdianschasau83722 жыл бұрын
When learned drumming, i hit a speed limit, when i couldn't think of every stroke fast enough. I overcame that with muscle memory. The basics of Hi-hat, snare and base are programmed into my body. But this guy has 5 programs running his body simultaniously while doing off-beat stuff on the cymbals and magic on the base. Very impressive. Thx, for sharing.

I think in a way there is an element that the techniques have become more refined as the various people explored methods, pedals develop and so on, like drumming in general. What George does is a development on top of the work of Tony Laureano, others, and his experiments too. For me George brings with him a stronger musical education.... and it shows. DC
