Carson was by far the best host. Quit watching the Tonight Show after he left. Leno was the beginning of the end, in my opinion.

Yo I’m 34 and I’m a huge fan of GL!!! I had no idea he was on Carson. I loved seeing him on Letterman but he seemed a little nervous on there compared to this!!

Probably not your taste, but understand that stereotypes is what everyone was doing, and there is nothing wrong with it to this day. You just have to do it where the audience likes you. If everyone overanalyzed everything to find ppl doing politically incorrect things, everybody would be in trouble, and I mean EVERYONE. But yeah. His wife divorced him after giving him another kidney.
