hearing George's digs about the mic stand, one can start to see how he and Don Dokken don't get along. George is a sarcastic, smart ass.

George is awesome! Love his work in Dokken but I feel like what he does in Lynch Mob lets him be more musically expressive.

Regarding the negative comments here, I'd suggest that we explore what risk-taking music improvisation is. George is not one to play it safe. And in this case I think he nails a chaotic/random element of music improv that VERY few players can achieve.

Definitely not his finest hour. What frustrates me about Lynch is that he's fully capable of playing arpeggios, and he knows how to sweep (I've heard him do both before), but instead he focuses on those ancient blues-type riffs that are so tired.
@mbreinin4 жыл бұрын
I don't think sweep arpeggios were ever really his bag. Yeah, there are some sprinkled in his songs, but these outside of the blues box type of licks have always been his primary focus. There are plenty of guys sweeping arpeggios, there is only one guy playing like George Lynch.

Used to be the king of tone, now has washed out, over phased crap that kills my cat's ears.

George needs to start watching his own videos and see how bad his experimental playing has become, it seems like hes taking bits out of the way he used to play and put it into whatever this is, I was a huge Lynch fan since the start and ive seen the decline, I still wonder if he suffers from orthopedic hand issues because he has no fluency what so ever anymore

Wow dam George well not sure what that was but holy shit kinda sucked but I think it was your sound set up. Maybe to much delay to much flange to much muchness. I still love ya though your still an incredible guitarist.

George Lynch is one of my guitar idols. I've studied his style of playing and mimicked the way he played in the '80s. That being said.... This is indeed awful. It looks like he just pulled an all-nighter. His playing is forced and his tone is garbage. He looks as if he does not want to be there. He should be playing a new model of ESP or his signature Kamikaze, my favorite. I never really liked his Skull & Crossbones model.
