I've always wanted to learn how to play George Lynch's instrumental song he does on the Shadowlife album. The song "I don't know, slight return" at the end of the album is amazing in his tone and growl he gets with his playing!

Hey Jeff, Specifically gave that a listen after reading your comment. The playing is surprisingly laid-back on that track. If I had to guess, it sounds like he’s using a lot of neck position single coil with slightly lower drive amps. Had never heard that one before, to be honest. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
