What a fabulous show. Bill you are a genius. Best interview I've seen in my life. (83 yrs old). Just start him off and let him talk. DO NOT interrupt or add anything. You did a masterful job. Unbelievable. Can't thank you enough. There should be a Pulitzer for this type of cast. Kudos , kudos, kudos.

Thank you, my friend. The key to good interviews is ask a question and get in and out and let the guest talk. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen an interviewer get in the way with their own ego and the interview just coming out ok. Again, thank you for the nice words.

If this guy had a name ending in Berg or Stein instead of Martorano, he wouldn't even see a courtroom. We all know America is full of shit and we all know why.

If stand up guy was a video! This was an amazing watch, so humble, focused, stays on track, I could listen to his stories for hours. Just his time and experiences with John Gotti alone could make for an amazing movie, Shawshank Redemption meets HBO’s classic Gotti. The dialogue, the side of John Gotti no one has ever seen, it would be epic. If Marty Scorsese is in the comments, let’s get it into production! New subscriber here, please give us a part two!

Dude- this guy should be canonized a saint- then be sworn in President of the U S - doing the small amounts of county time I have done- made me realize I don’t like doing time- I would rather be dead- with that said- I hate snitches worst- This is a man’s man- if he don’t have resentment towards everyone- cops and robbers - I would hate everyone- This man’s experience he could take anything- respect sir- respect- I hope you get everything you have coming to you

When he mentioned that guy being welded in his cell reminded me of a guy in Iowa penitentiary named Ed Clark, actually he's still doing time in Iowa,he was welded in his cell for killing a guard, after 10 yrs some do-gooders in govt said it was cruel and unusual so he got out of solitary and got $10,000 settlement, this was back in 1980 when he was let out of solitary
