The late 90s early 2000s, I would see Sammy's son and his crew all the time in the clubs in Scottsdale and Tempe. Everyone knew they were selling ecstasy and steroids. Vlad was right about the Devil Dogs. It was just a group of wrestler friends from High School in Gilbert AZ. One night, they beat the crap out of a black kid. Messed him up really bad. The media jumped on that and just labeled them a skin-head type group. It wasn't that at all.

When i was dealing in the late 80s early 90s i was approached by some guy who I never saw before. It was in an after-hours club. He said he heard i got rid of a lot of coke 😭 and he could use my help with getting rid of it. That i could make a good score. I asked him how do you know im not a cop, how do I know your not a cop. I told him Im not what you heard, and I'm not interested. I was what he heard, but I don't roll like that. Everybody back then started getting shady, I had a very keen sense of instinct, and i never got busted for what I was doing. I got out in time and watched people rat each other out, while some kept quiet and did some time. I m glad I made the right decision.

In 1994, Sammy entered the witness protection program. The $2,000,000 he had at the time would now hold a value of $4,071,289.43 in today's 2023 economy. Similarly, had he possessed $4,000,000 during that same year, it would have wielded purchasing power equivalent to $8,142,578.87 in the present day. To put it succinctly, the $2 million he held three decades ago in 1994 would have the same spending capacity as $8 million today.

one of the best interviews vlad has ever done..im a good judgement of character and pretty good at reading people and body language when they are telling stories and answering questions.. only a handful of people tell the truth weather it's in their favor or not.. cuz vlad does not hold back from asking serious questions that most people wouldn't.. Sammy is one of them..mike tyson is one.. and boosie is another one..sammy is a class act.. straight up tell it like it is..

Sammy is always full of it. Scarpa was a very feared capo, big earner, and Persico loyalist. Why he's belittling someone like Scarpa is nonsensical. Sammy even called Mikey Scars "a hang around guy" when 1) Scars was always photographed with Gotti Sr. which is a big status to be with the boss all the time, 2) A capo who earned tremendous amounts of money and came from a lineage of guys in that life, and 3) Sammy himself inducted him along with Gotti Junior. Sammy only began belittling him when Scars came on the KZbin scene to call Sammy on his piles of bullshit claims.
@E.Patrick831 Жыл бұрын
@citypopradioFM I know Greg sr's captain was charlie moose panarella for a long time but eventually he moved to Vegas. Larry mazza seems to think the Colombos have an extra position called boss's man that he said greg sr held. Wether or not he held an official captains position he had the authority and the respect of a captain forsure. Greg scarpa Jr. Has a book on KZbin and he talks about how his dad was resentful that he was a captain and his dad wasn't. It's pretty good the audiobook is on KZbin.
@FortValance Жыл бұрын
Greg Scarpa was never a Caporegime but I do believe that the hierarchy of the Colombo family were well aware that he was working with the Feds... but considered his cooperation with them as beneficial to the family as Greg was still a ruthless Gangster and probably told them that he had the Feds eating out of his hand, giving him free reign to do whatever he likes.
