Bill, I have experienced a sportsbook implementing a 4% tax on all winning bets in a foreign country. I thought that it would be the end of profitability in that country's sportsbooks. The exact opposite happened. You are a smart dude. Think about what would happen if every book in America started charging a 3.8% tax on all winning bets. Hint: You would love the outcome.

Question and comment for both Jon and Krack. At MGM properties (especially Aria) when betting sports using their self betting kiosks, they have these MGM App sales people who physically approach you and question why I’m using the machines. Such a pain. Have you experienced this? I want to take my business to Circa from now on. Vultures!

Ny has double the population of nevada so more gambling makes sense especially since anyone from the tri state area ( NY/NJ/CT ) knows sports gambling was basically legal through a local bookie before it was officially legalized
