This was incredibly fascinating. George has such a humble yet brilliantly striking level of confidence in his knowledge and his and Ben's banter was a joy to listen to. My favorite episode yet and I wish I could click the like button a dozen times more!

Yeah, Ben. We are all from the, Balto/Wash, Metro Regions. I've known George since I was 15 when he was 23. Back in 1971 or maybe that was 72? Memories are getting a bit foggy as I'm 68. And George,, Did Not, invent the parametric equalizer. He merely had his, Electrical Engineer, Burgess McNeil. Make him a parametric equalizer. Miniaturized. Put on every channel of his audio console. He did not invent the parametric equalizer. You could get them. They were 3 and 4U and 19 inches wide, per channel. At a bit awkward and impractical. To have, 20, to, 24 or more channels. And he wanted it, miniaturized. Which he got. And that changed, everything. As the SSL didn't come out until 1978. And he beat them to the punch. I felt bad for you. When you lost the RCA Studio in Nashville. I had popped into see you. You weren't there. But you're very nice, Studio Manager, was. She was great. And what a lovely historic place that was. I was so happy for you, Ben. Now your studio. Like my studio. Is, gone. And most everything has now been sold off. I had a good run. A very deep and fulfilling career. Beyond my wildest dreams. Though I have no pop hit records. I have other hit records. Operatic and rock 'n' roll gospel. I'm certainly not as prolific as George Massenburg. Has been in the studio. My specialty is Live Broadcast. And that's tougher than working in the studio. Though both are very different. I have a great appreciation for that difference. While others are just, clueless.. And that happens with stupid people. We have to get together on this, stuff. RemyRAD
