It is going to be disastrous, keeping Poles. I truly hope I'm wrong. He did some good things regarding the draft, but his free agency skills are horrible. He's already proven he has a poor ability to select the right coaching staff, think about it. The Bears need to get rid of Poles, and hire a new GM with a new HC, like every other good football team does.

Plus in two years if more than half of these players do not perform, a new start only begins the arguments around a young QB already having experienced complete nonsense for growth and this also signals to guys like Ben Johnson that no accountability for Poles means accepting whatever he decides, good or bad. What a total failure McCaskey is.

The “we will work with you” preface message to in coming HC’s will mean as it always does, “you will be working with a committee” and it is guaranteed that Johnson will say, “yeah right, thanks but no thanks!” McCaskey is literally a demon to the city and should be treated as such by politicians he’s trying to suck $ from.

I'm an Aussie who is pretty new to the NFL , been supporting the Bears because of Tyson Bagent (he is a Crossfit guy & I love his story of being an undrafted D2 rookie -> the NFL) ... its been a real tough time following CHI as they 'promise' so much & failed big time this season, it seems to have gotten worse since firing the Head Coach. I really hope they get they stuff together & get the right coaching team together plus invest in some more players in offence, the defence seem to be doing pretty good overall & must be pretty pissed at the offence, or whoever is calling the plays ... We all know Free Agency and draft will be trenches heavy, and I'm very interested in seeing what happens as I think Poles does a great job with his research and draft picks. Bears are content to be mediocre Ryan Poles DID HIRE MATT EBERFLUS and he has traded away Khalil Mack Roshon Smith Justin Fields & Khalil Herbert for pennys on the dollar he has had far more misses in the draft than hits and with the obvious exception of the Carolina trade and failed miserably. Bringing Ryan poles back proves the McCaskeys are content to rake in their Billion+ dollars a year from the loyalty of Bears fans and have no interest whatsoever in being competitive.
