I'm someone who loves originals. Regardless of whether it's movies or music. I'd list some examples, but then people will say mean things and hate me. So, I'll just stick to Elton John's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me. It was one of my favorites, until I heard this version. It's absolutely, stunningly brilliant!! I listened to the first half of the song with my mouth half open!! It's by far, the best collaboration I've ever heard, of any song. This reminds me of those commercials decades ago advertising cassette tapes for recording music. Their claim was you couldn't tell whether it was a live or recorded performance. The ad line was, "Is it live or is it Memorex?" LOL

Happy New year to you both. George has done a lot of collaborations.....Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Aretha Franklin.....but I know you love Queen, have you seen his performance at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert doing somebody to love? If not I would recommend checking it out, just so good. Freddie was one of George's favourite performers and he did him proud x

For anyone who is not aware this is an Elton John song. Does anyone know the situation here. It looks to me that it was a George Michaels concert & bringing Elton John out for his song was a surprise. Does anyone know if that is correct?

Yes it's Elton's song from his 1974 album Caribou, it was George's concert and Elton as a suprise guest.
