There is a story about how he came across as a stranger, who was in debt, and had pretty much given up on life, and, without hesitation, cleared all her debts, And people did not know that side of him. His humanity, empathy and his huge generosity.

I think very highly of George. Drugs ruin so many lives But what I do not understand is why with so much information made public about hard core drug, why do people still disregard the warnings and try drugs anyway. This ís something I do not understand They know they would become addicted but take them anyway. I would not be a bit surprised that friends if his hit him into doing drugs. It is so sad that George went through all of his depression and his Dad never telling him what a great singer he was and suffering the loss of his love and then Mom. I only wish George knew just how great he was and what a beautiful voice he really had. He is my all time favorite singer, entertainer. I only wish I could have gone to one of his concerts.
