What's up with the people standing off to the left, behind the bar?. That's a horrible place to have anyone watching.

I'm a professional magician and have worked professionally for many years under all types of conditions and angle difficulties. Pretty soon you learn to handle all types of difficulties or you get run out of the business.

It depends on if the effect is angle sensitive.

Great job George! These are three of my favorite illusions of all-time. The Chop Cup routine is my personal favorite.

Your ball and cone routine was spectacular. The saxophone music killed me though. 5 stars anyways.

Ricky Jay and Hannibal do that last sleight of hand trick too but I have no idea how it's done. Bravo!!!!

There are only 3 tricks on the video, are you talking about the cup trick? The cup trick is Larry Jennings routine for Al Wheatley's Chop-Chpp one cup trick.
@PreservationEnthusiast3 жыл бұрын
@@georgemillward2069 Yes this is quite easy to do. There is a magnet gimmick in the top of the cup which can hold a steel core ball. Except when you bump it down the ball is dislodged from the magnet and it appears! The red ball he loaded into the cup from behind the handkerchief after she poked her finger in to check it was empty. And the green ball he loaded in from under the table while they were misdirected looking at the red ball. Anything else you want exposed, just ask away!
This is the weakest slight of hand I’ve ever seen!

Fun stuff! Who is the guy with the hat in the audience? He looks familiar. Is he a magician?
@georgemillward1105 Жыл бұрын
That's Robert Baxt, the whole audience is magicians and friends. It was shot in Lance Burton's home in Las Vegas.

@@georgemillward1105 Thank you for solving the mystery. Robert is great, too! Enjoyed your magic George!

Robert Baxt was on a low carb diet back in those days and got super skinny. He got married shortly after and his wife was a great cook and he no longer is quite so thin.

I have watched this over and over again, I love how skilled he is, I keep picturing how strong someone has to be to rip a deck of cards in half lol 😂 I hope I get even part of the mastery that he’s attained practicing his magic for so long. It’s truly beautiful
@chasehorton23248 ай бұрын
It’s a trick, if you spread the cards properly you rip down it one at a time, so you just need the strength to rip 1-3 cards because you’re not ripping them all at once. It’s the same way you can rip a phone book in half.
