A fond me 80's. mory of watching this man on TV back in the late 70's and early 80's. I have been doing magic and juggling full time since 1990 and he was the original inspiration. I even got to see him in 1986. I believe he stopped performing shortly thereafter. RIP Doug Henning. You remain supreme in my mind and thank you for all you did to make the world a better place.

I've been doing close-up for over 60 years. Doug Henning was one of my two favorite magi along with Harry Anderson. Both these magicians contributed so much to the art. I've met so many wonderful people who are interested in magic. Peace and love to all from S. Oregon.

Doug Henning will always be my all time favorite magician . Best tv specials as a kid . And even better seeing him live on stage when he’d come to town .

I didn't get into magic till 10 years after Doug Henning left magic. Secrets are great to know but when someone as talented as Henning does a trick, secrets make no difference. He was so good that even when you know the secrets, he still fools you. RIP, Little Man.

In 1988 at a Barbara DeAngelis "Making Love Work" presentation in Los Angeles, Barbara spoke candidly about her first husband. Her recollection of his illusions and of his character was particularly fascinating.
