I found the interviewer to be disrespectful to the great George Montgomery ^ by asking George a few times ' can you remember that ' treating George like he had NO memory, George handled the interview with greatness sharpness & patience.. and one hell of a handsome man all through his life.

George Montgomery is one of my favorite western stars. I can't believe how someone like Skip Lowe got all these major stars on his show. Custard's Last Stand lol Man! Lowe is all over the board and Montgomery seems like a simple man. I'm surprised he didn't walk off.

Addendum: how many times does Mr. Montgomery have to tell this schlemiel that he doesn't have good recollections of the people he worked with because at the time, it was just his job. He also may have been trying to do the right thing by not telling tales about these people out of respect.

Skip was a quite a character . I saw him many times walking about West Hollywood when I lived there from 1992-2010. He also showed up in local bars to drink. I notice Skip called George Montgomery “ Russian” , and since he was Ukrainian, George was evasive, saying “ Montanan”.

Poor George, having to jump from one story to another. His sister Rose 🌹 is my Mom’s Mother. I never met her and from what my mom spoke about is to sad to share. It’s history now but a very tragic one indeed. This is a Great Uncle and my mom ended up in Harden on a reservation until she was adopted by and farmer & school teacher. Why the dirty laundry? All those folks are dead. Mom’s still around. Must be that Russian blood.

But that aside, THANK YOU for standing up for Ronald Reagan against this twit. It seems that Mr. Lowe maybe the foundation for the scum we have in Hollywood today. george montgomery had magic. and as sex-driven as stars ever are. couldn't stay faithful to Dinah Shore and told her so . what followed for him was self-indulgent, dangerous, sordid. but nobody cast him well, in something darker, more Hitchcock and it was really too bad. he ended up looking like this. hard to watch, really.

Skip E Lowe was one of the worst interviewers in history. Let these people answer their questions. He cuts them off constantly while they are trying to answer the last stupid question he just asked them. These interviews are only wonderful for the array of classic Hollywood stars that were interviewed but if someone else were conducting it, they wouldn't be so painful to watch. I feel for these actors having to endure him. However most of them seem to like him probably because of his Hollywood background as a young minor and extra actor who worked in the background of several older classics. Skip was just one of those people who lingered in the business doing this kind of stuff.
