Defense picks up the slack and creates more opportunities for them to get things right. Defense can’t stop the other team’s offense? It’s on the offense to respond to keep them in the game while the defense makes adjustments. Kicker’s struggling? Defensive and offensive players pick him up on the sidelines. You help and support each other - mentally, physically, emotionally. You win and lose as a team, every time.
