I was so lucky to know George in the late 80's as I had just started teaching in the Tahoe/Truckee, CA area in 1984 and was just lucky enough to get invited to hang at his house and play duets, etc... for about 2 1/2 years. All he wanted me to do was sound like Frank Sinatra. Go home put on one his tunes and sound just like him!
