George, a short view back to the past. Thirty years ago, Niki Lauda told us ‘take a monkey, place him into the cockpit and he is able to drive the car.’ Thirty years later, Sebastian told us ‘I had to start my car like a computer, it’s very complicated.’ And Nico Rosberg said that during the race - I don’t remember what race - he pressed the wrong button on the wheel. Question for you both: is Formula One driving today too complicated with twenty and more buttons on the wheel, are you too much under effort, under pressure? What are your wishes for the future concerning the technical programme during the race? Less buttons, more? Or less and more communication with your engineers?

We need more deep technical discussions from drivers. It's great to see how much they actually know especially since most of the times they are speaking, it's answering the standard "how will you go out there?" unfulfilling questions that pretty much all media ask them.

It’s so incredibly fascinating how they basically have to fiddle around a complex steering wheel like that while going 300 mph or whatever speed they go. And on top of having to know what you’re pressing, you’re doing so while paying attention to the road, bumpy ride, and thick ass gloves. Damn

Thanks to Michael Schumacher, we have this many buttons today. in 1995 it was only a wheel with 3 or 4 buttons. From 1996 on, he got more and more buttons from year to year and every team copied it. Now we have space ships. Tbh, I would like to see the wheels with only 3 buttons again, so the drivers can concentrate on driving and fighting.

Maybe im the only one. But i thought DRS was automated. The cars are so high tech and connected and there are DRS zones. So just presumed if you're within a second of the car ahead the DRS would activate? Only reason I could think of for not wanting it to open is if you're behind a teammate and team orders are to stay there? Any other reasons people can think of?

Clearly not enough about the wheel, but this is the first time I found out what STRAT settings are used for. Lol…also, I had assumed semi automatic DRS deployment.. so the driver has to do this manually? And turn it off at the end? Fascinating.
