I'm a lando norris fan all the way. I do find myself cheering for max because of his amazing intense driving. But mercedes has not 1 but 2 absolutely amazing drivers and human beings. @GS 1905 - I’m with you. I don’t want him to retire. Maybe it’s just me, but seeing all that happened after that infamous race with the Masi affair, the Ecclestone interview and his wife being made FIA VP. The F1 media blaming the fans instead of Masi, the new FIA president, who I thought was a nice one, threatening to punish Lewis for not attending the gala because of “rules” they suddenly care about, but no word on Masi, the feeling that the other drivers have been given a gag order not to speak of the incident… all that looks like they are trying to make Lewis feel like he isn’t wanted in the next season. They are trying to break him almost. To clarify l, I am not a diehard Lewis fan, I tend to route for new talent myself, but the last few days I am starting to feel for him and Toto and even Max, because his championship has a little bit of a stigma attached. I loved this sport for decades, and I hope so can still love it in the future. But I’m disappointed.

I think he will work out just fine, a lot are saying they don’t know how well him and Lewis will get along and it could be bad, but I don’t see that at all. Lewis isn’t racing for too much longer so even if we is 2nd place driver for 3 years, he would learn a lot. Also, It looks like he shows and gives Lewis a lot of respect, and knows that’s his team/ home.
