Wayward and Bowens used to be part of a group called the Untouchables in Pro Wrestling Syndicate a few yrs back. Also had some matches against eachother on the indies. Made this comment before watching the match so I don't know if the announcers reference their history with eachother.

The Acclaimed show great potential. They have great size, the look and Castor's dis tracks before the match are hella fun. You can see they are a bit loose and disjointed in the ring- not unexpected since they are a relatively new tag team but these guys could really get some nice pops when the larger crowds come back. The only other thing I'd critique is their finisher- they need a real one. In AEW with all the crazy set ups and finishers it's not believable to win with an elbow drop from the top. I look forward to seeing where these guys are in 6 months.

For me, The Acclaimed is in the same vein as New Day and Street Profits. And I absolutely hate them. This rapper clown is maximally annoying. And not in a good way, like a Jack Evans is for example. In any case, I don't necessarily have to see them.
