Strait truth Killer hook Instrument break down Back into the verse Even the Hank reference where he says 'I'm so Lonesome I could Cry' is the proper way to pay tribute unlike the George tribute you did a few days ago. 😂😂 He even threw in a tequila ad. Good reaction but I personally thought the rating was a little on the low side. Alot of imagery in those lyrics: "Whiskey is the gasoline that lights the fire that burns the bridge", "Ice creates the water that's no longer runnin' under it", "Stool holds the fool that pours the whiskey on his broken heart", "Cigarettes create the smoke that hides the lonesome in his eyes", and "Dance floor holds the folks trying to forget who they are". Irony, contradictions, maybe a little "baby and the bath water" kind of thing? Pretty much all three! How do I know? The honky tonk was my nursery, an empty beer bottle...my first toy, couldn't sleep---pacifier gets a whiskey swim and all is good again! :-)

Always great reviews Don! I'm also curious about these other channels of yours, do telll! I've seen a lot of Memorial Day requests and I'm sure you have countless to consider, so no pressure, but would like to suggest a couple that lit up my world in my combat boot-wearing days. Sadly I've lost countless military friends to suicide more so than war over the years and it breaks my heart watching how hard they trained and how proudly they wore that uniform to have lost them to feelings of impasse. Toby Keith's Courtesy of the Red White and Blue surely captures our USA pride as well as a little of that anger pinned up at Injustice too. He has done free concerts for the troops for years and can't thank him enough for the support he's given to those giving it their all. The next is a song that many dismiss as simple, Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA, but if you'd sat in those large auditoriums with me full of uniform-wearing young bucks year after year, as it was always played on the big screen with real images of our brothers at war, it never left a dry eye in the house. It always made us remember why we were there and renewed our pride and passion for this country. Always powerful and great memories!
