Garth Brooks murdered country music and it continued going downhill from there.
@24681359David9 жыл бұрын
+geargriden19 He had a tiny handfull of good ones, but, yeah, outside of that, I didn't like him. You want to know the scary part? People just LOVED him.
@jeffisraw20008 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but I'm the biggest anti-pop country hatin' true traditional lovin' country fan you'll ever meet and "Garth Brooks created pop country" is the biggest myth ever! Even though he acted like a fool on stage and had that Chris Gaines crap he started out as Traditional and used Traditional Sounds for the most part. I will admit towards the mid and late 90s his music did shift and sound more like pop but that was after the arrival of Shania Twain. She's the one who really started it not Garth, he started another trend but he didn't completely ruin country music.

Can someone explain the meaning of this song...thanks
@scotthunt247910 ай бұрын
The song is a lament that traditional country music was no longer welcome on country radio, record labels, etc. Those people wanted a more contemporary style of country, and traditional acts like George Jones, Merle Haggard, etc. were slowly phased out. Music Row is the nickname for the area in Nashville where most of the major record labels, recording studios, etc. are located.

That's exactly what these so called new country musicians have done they have killed traditional country music.
