I didn't know that. It's all about extra money. Gene's just a money magnet. It's his life story. I have heard tons of his interviews, and I have YET to hear him talk about his love for playing the bass. Passionate musicians talk about their instruments a lot. Gene just talks about how cool he thinks he is.

obviously gene has an addiction to money and its actually a real problem like drugs. usually it happens because of something during child hood. like his mother had to work a lot and still didnt make much money, so his fear is not having money and his family suffering from it like he did. which makes it even harder to get him to slow down, you wouldnt think you can get addicted until your in an addicts shoes. if you get addicted to one thing. then you will probably get attached to other things

Too true! Gene grew up dirt poor, his dad walked out when he was 7, KISS was in DEBT up to their eyeballs until 1975, and losing their shirts every other day until ALIVE! hit! You bet he was traumatised by DEBT! I am guessing he swore he would NEVER get into debt ever again!

I was talking about Gene. Kiss (the real Kiss) was the Ace Frehley Band, as far as I'm concerned. Gene did a good job on bass and sang really well, but I sneer at how he tries to present himself publicly as the most important member of the band. He was the most important public relations agent and marketer, but musically, he was just the bass player who did a lot of the singing. Ace was the supertalent in the band who made their music sound awesome enough to make them famous.
