Crazy Nights is a terrible album. I used to own every Kiss album, numerous bootlegs, posters, magazines and other memorabilia. Then I matured and did a bit of a revision and came to the conclusion that after the first four albums, most of their music is sub par. There are some good tunes that followed but overall I think once they lost their hunger the quality of their music declined. Alive is one of the greatest rock albums ever, but it was mostly downhill after that. Just my two cents after 40 years. I got my first Kiss album for Christmas in 1977.

You are right the words 'chosen' and 'success' could have a broad range of meanings. Perhaps using Gene Simmons as an analogy for one of God chosen people is not the best thing to do. But I when I wrote my original post I did because I was offended for three reasons. One: I see the Jewish people as part of my Godly family and became very angry with they anti-semitic posts on here. His will was and has always been that all men, weather it be you, me, Gene Simmons or the Nazi's come to him in repentance.
